Even though your insurance company may tell you that you are covered at 100 percent, it is possible that some plans may assign you a patient responsibility of co-insurance, co-pay, or towards your deductible. There may be additional fees for weekends, afterhours, and travel fees that insurance does not cover. Please see our Insurance FAQ page for more information.

Please be aware that with Aetna in-network coverage excludes plans through Allied Health. Also telehealth may not be covered by some plans, and the full amount of the consult or co-payments/co-insurance/deductible may apply.

If your plan requires a referral, you can help expedite the process by obtaining a referral from your doctor prior to submitting your information to TLN.

TLN’s coverage does not include UHC plans in the public sector, such as Medicare and
Medicaid.

When requesting coverage through The Lactation Network, you will receive an immediate response confirming your submission. You will receive eligibility response based on the level of need.
